"khayyam" the Iranian poet is well known among the European people, They read his poems and like it but they few of them know abut Iran and its literature. Iran and its background of literature is one of the most important one. I start my "weblog" with Khayyam's poem because perhaps his works is more popular than others.

Above text is from the book "A YEAR AMONGST THE PERSIANS" by "EDWARD GRANVILLE BROWNE". I choose this thext because it is the best English text I know that can introduce Persian stile of writing as well as thinking to non-Iranian people who like to know more about Iran and its glorious literature.
Iranian literature is mixed deeply with Islamic thoughts and one can not distinguish whether it is Islamic or Iranian. So when a person wants to learn about Islam s/he should know some about Iran and learning about Iran and its literature is tightly mixed with Islamic thoughts.
i like to write about Iran and whatever is concerning to Iran and in the same time Islam.
"Persian" or "Farsi" is the spoken and official language of Iran and it is the second language of Islam. So learning more about it is a clue toward a glorious world of "Persian literature" and as well "Islamic literature".
